My parents had a weird reaction when I told them I was earning top dollars from writing on a blog.

What do you mean you write for a living?
And what’s that a blog? Some kind of website?
You should get a real job!

They are old-fashioned people and don’t understand unconventional things. Their main concern was that I don’t have a fixed schedule and I don’t go to an office to earn money.

They tend to underestimate everything they are incapable of understanding.

I ran a tech blog for over 5 years and earned money from the Google Adsense program.

The truth is I always enjoyed getting involved in different side hustles. Years from that moment, I still focus on creating passive income streams while having a regular job just for security. To have the security of paying the bills.
