I Am Sick And Tired Of Waiting For Publications to Accept My Work
And I know exactly what I have to do.
There’s the mirage that publishing content to different publications brings you huge revenue. I say “mirage” because it did not work like that for me.
My top-performing articles weren’t the ones accepted by the big publications.
I think a lot of writers feel the same. They get enthusiastic regarding their latest work but the waiting time for something to get published (or not) is most likely affecting their mood and writing flow.
The solution to my current frustration is simple. Starting with today, I will self-publish most of my content.
If I feel that I want the visibility and the exposure a big publication may provide, I submit an article there. If it’s not published in 48 hours, I remove it and publish it in my publications.
What I will do, exactly? I will create different publications and used them to categorize my content, like this:
- Writing, blogging, and everything related in one place
- Leadership, Freelancing, Work and everything related in another place
- Relationships and everything related in another place
