Being a young leader is very difficult, as a lot of people consider your lack of experience a big problem.

It can be a problem unless you replace it with some other qualities: a positive attitude, the willingness to work a lot, and the desire to win.

Work harder than anyone else

The harder you work, the more respect you will gain. Gaining respect is crucial because it will consolidate your position as a leader.

Don’t forget that your main job is to help others

A manager’s value equals the value of the team he runs. Don’t forget that your main job as a leader is to help others perform better.

Always take the blame for the team’s results

You are the main responsible for the team’s results, despite the fact you’re not the one doing the work itself. A leader’s job is to do anything he can to help the team achieve better results.
